Surrounded by the bright blue Mediterranean sea it’s hard to miss and avoid on the island. However there are plenty of beachfront hotels and these are our favourite Menorca beachfront hotels on the island you should visit next.
Menorca Beachfront Hotels Overview
When you think of Menorca you will naturally think of beautiful golden sandy beaches, the gently lapping waves, refreshing cocktails, plentiful evening entertainment and of course fantastic hotels right on said, golden sandy beach.
There are many beachfront hotels in Menorca, almost too many to choose from and some featured on our other guides, such as our all inclusive Menorca hotels guide. So we advise finding out what works for you so you can narrow down you search. All of these hotels will of course be a stones throw from the local beach, but what other amenities are you looking for? Spa, Gym, daytime activities, plentiful evening entertainment etc.
In no particular order we have listed out top Top 5 Menorca Beachfront Hotels, followed by some honourable mentions.
Menorca Beachfront Hotels List – Top 5
Villa Le Blanc, a Gran Meliá Hotel
First up the 5 star Villa Le Blanc in Santo Tomas, which also happens to feature on our Top 10 Best Hotels in Menorca List, so naturally it had to appear here.
In short, a spectacular cliff side hotel with quality service and experience at it’s heart. A short walk outside the back of the hotel, down some stairs and your at one of two of the Santo Tomas beaches.
Amenities include; concierge service, rooftop pool, outdoor pool with Balinese beds; three onsite restaurants all specialising in a different cuisine including Menorcan produce, ceviche style and grilled meats & fish; various room types available including suites and junior suites, presidential suites and more; daytime activities, onsite spa and gym and more.
Our Santo Tomas resort guide focuses on what else is available only a short walk away, such as bars, restaurants, supermarkets and more.

Melia Cala Galdana
Our second Melia owner hotel to feature, this time in the bustling resort of Cala Galdana. No stairs and a beachfront location that leave nothing to the imagination.
Overlooking the Cala Galdana beach and bay you’re treated to unrivalled views. Just a hop and a skip and your on the sandy beach and splashing in the sea.
Amenities include; outdoor main and children’s pool; infinity pool (upgrade required); three restaurants serving up a choose of local and international delights, Mediterranean cuisine and also Italian; daily evening entertainment; kid’s club for all ages from 8 months to 12 years old; full day time activity programme; onsite gym and more.
Our Cala Galdana resort guide features more on the local resort, including restaurants, local amenities, bars and more.

White Sands Beach Club Arenal d’en Castell
Heading to the north of the island, the White Sands Beach Club at Arenal d’en Castell puts you right on the beach with direct access from the hotel. Wake up, step outside and you’re onto the beach. What more do you want from a beautiful Menorca beachfront hotel.
Slightly different in the sense that the White Sands Beach Club is an Aparthotel. Meaning it’s a self-catering approach and all apartments come provided with a kitchenette and a healthy supply of cooking utensils.
Due to the lack of facilities, featuring amenities such as; outdoor pool; restaurant; mini-golf; laundry room; children’s play area, when comparing to large hotels, this only comes in at a 3 star offering. But don’t let that put you off. 4.5 stars as per Google Reviews and 4.5 stars from Tripadvisor, both with over 500 unique reviews.
Well kept, modern, bright and spacious – you’ll be pleasantly suprised.

Melia Sol Son Bou (Hotel Sol Milanos Pingüinos)
Another Melia hotel to make the list, this time coming from the southern island resort of Son Bou. Featuring the longer and widest beach on the island being on the doorstep, or looking out to the expansive Mediterranean sea can make for a spectacular stay in Menorca.
A family focused hotel and more budget friendly than many options with all-inclusive at the heart of the hotel, although Half-Board is available. The 3 star Melia Sol Son Bou provides 7 room types to choose from including family sea views, standard rooms and even single rooms for perhaps the solo traveller or aunt, uncle or grandparent who wants their own space.
Plenty of amenities and facilities to keep everyone entertained too from kid’s club for all children ages up to 12 years old, a sports programme and day time activities all throughout summer, as well as playgrounds and activity areas. Not forgetting the evening entertainment too with live shows, shows and children’s mini disco, again, all throughout summertime.
One for families, but plenty to keep you busy. And of course, with the beach just a stones throw away, making for ideal convivence for families.

Seth Santo Tomas Hotel
Another beautiful hotel on the south coast of Menorca in the resort of Santo Tomas. Next door to the Villa le Blanc that also featured too.
The Seth Santo Tomas Menorca hotel is perched on the small cliffs of Santo Tomas, a few steps down and you’re onto the golden beach of Santo Tomas. Wide, spacious and the shallow, gentle waves crashing onto the shore.
With a variety of rooms available for all, double rooms with and without sea views, superior doubles and master bedrooms, even beach suites with jacuzzi’s with unspoilt sea views.
Although less action packed than the Sol Milanos Pingüinos for example, there are plenty of amenities to keep you relaxed and fulfilled, including the large outdoor pool, evening entertainment throughout summer and of course gym, spa and wellness treatments.
