There are many petrol stations around the island of Menorca. But do note that most of the coastal resorts don’t have a petrol station so you will need to plan your journey accordingly.

The majority of petrol stations are centred around the larger cities and inland towns. So we would advise heading to Mahon or Ciutadella for the cheapest petrol in Menorca.

Opening hours of the Menorca petrol stations differ station to station, typically you can expect them to be open from around 07:00 – 21:00. How Much Is Petrol In Menorca?

The cost of petrol in Menorca expect to be higher than prices you may expect back home. Being an island Menorca will have to import the vast majority of items and petrol and diesel is no exception.

As of writing this article in July 2023 prices for petrol in Menorca are hovering around the €1.68 – €1.75 per litre mark.

Prices for Menorcan petrol will be typically less expensive in the two major cities, Mahon and Ciutadella. Expect to pay higher prices for petrol in Menorca at Mahon airport, around the coastal resorts and the inland resorts. Prices won’t vary too much and given the lack of availability, it may often not be worthwhile driving further away to find a slightly cheaper petrol price.
